Ingredients

  • Spring onion - 3 cup (chopped)
  • Red chili - 2 medium (finely chopped)
  • Crushed ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1 and 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Hing / Asafoetida - 1 pinch
  • Corn flour - 3 tbsp
  • Chick pea flour / besan - 6 tbsp

Instructions

  1. mix all the ingredients with 3-4 tbsp of water. make sure the mixture holds together and not flowing (if you have added more water then you can add some chickpea flour to make it sticky).
  2. divide all mixture into 6 equal portions and shape them round and flat by using your hand. you can use a cover of a jar to make it perfect shape. but make sure you will apply some oil in the cover before using it otherwise it will stick to the cover.
  3. put a non-stick pan on medium heat and add 1 tbsp oil. spread the oil all over the pan and add cakes.
  4. after 3 min, flip the cakes and cook for another 3 mins.
  5. make sure that cakes cooked well by trying one of them :)
  6. serve it as a side dish or as snacks.
