Maggi Paratha Recipe | How to make Maggi Paratha – Sitting at home and a lot of time to pass, this weekend was a lazy one. But after a couple of drizzles and showers, the cool climate seemed to seep in us. This made us crave for something warm and mouth licking. Pakoras were regular, so we wanted to try something different. I said paratha and Sarita said maggi. It happens like that, we don’t always agree on the same thing. But this time we thought out of the box, why not make maggi paratha. Paratha stuffed with maggi was something I had never had before. So the idea became a mission and we jumped out of our laziness and the outcome was goooood. Maggi Paratha really made our weekend.

  • Maggi – 50 gm
  • Mustard oil – 2 tbsp
  • Maggi masala – 2 tbsp
  • Green chili – 1 (finely chopped)
  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
  • Salt – 2 tsp
  • Chili powder – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds –1 tbsp
  • Carrot – 5 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Onion – 1 cup (finely chopped)
  • Green peas – 5 tbsp
  • Wheat flour – 2 cup
  • Gram flour – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds powder – 2 tsp
  • Sunflower Oil – 2 tbsp


  1. Put a kadai in medium flame with 2 cups water and ½ tsp salt once hot add noodle cake and boil for 5 mins.
  2. Separate boiled noodle from water and keep it in a plate.
  3. Put the pan in medium flame and add 2 tbsp mustard oil. Once it is hot, add 1 tbsp of cumin seeds, green chili and fry it for a min till it is slightly brown, then add onion and saute it for 2 mins. Add carrot, green peas, turmeric powder, ½ tsp salt, chili powder and sauté for a min, Cover it for 3 mins.
  4. Add maggi masala and saute for 2 mins. Now add the boiled noodles and mix well. Keep aside in a bowl to cool.
  5. Mix wheat flour, gram flour, 1 tsp salt, cumin (jeera) seed powder, chili powder, sunflower oil and water required to make dough. Now make dough balls and roll it round like roti.
  6. Put the maggi in the middle and bend of the circular edges to cover it.
  7. Slightly roll it carefully from both sides.
  8. Place the maggi masala paratha on a hot flat pan and leave it for 1 min then turn it on the other side. After 1 min add oil on both sides. Flip and cook paratha for 2 more mins till it becomes brown in color. Make sure that if paratha cooked well.
  9. Pull out small chucks of maggi paratha and relish with chutney/chili sauce/tomato sauce………
